In maths the main focus is place value & linking this skill with addition, subtraction, multiplication & division. Place value is the foundation key skill for all other maths concepts. Most children who struggle with maths aren’t secure in this skill. Once they are the confidence begins to build, along with their ability.

We practice times tables every week. My Y3’s are getting ready for their Y4 journey practicing all their times tables each week. Learning the tricks and rules of each one. This will help them feel confident when they first begin in Y4. |
